According to a report published Tuesday, TikTok has surpassed Instagram as US teenagers’ second favorite social media app, second only to Snapchat! Additionally, TikTok’s engagement rose to 69% from 62% in the spring. The report shows that TikTok is continuing to gain market share among the young US population - and we know the platform continues to age up rapidly. Brands and marketers, take note!
2020 has already presented a huge opportunity for brands on TikTok and the first-movers are gaining a large share of voice. Now is the time to build a TikTok presence. With TikTok’s continual growth and popularity, it’s only a matter of time before it’s no longer a matter of “whether” you are on TikTok, but how good your TikTok presence really is.
