Introducing Six Promotions
Movers+Shakers has experienced so much growth since we hired our first employee back in March of 2020! It seems like, every week, we celebrate a new work-anniversary with someone on our team, and are constantly adding new incredible team members to the rocket ship.
Every one of our employees continues to contribute to this growth and success, bringing fresh ideas and inspiring innovation, and each other, every day. Among our pack of joyful employees, we’re so excited to announce six promotions across our team.

AJ Pulvirenti, from Account Coordinator to Account Manager.
You've been here for a year now, do you consider yourself a mover or a shaker?
I’m DEFINITELY a shaker. I’m obsessed with the unfamiliar and disrupting everything we know about social.
What's your favorite memory, slack channel, or meeting you've had while at M+S?
My favorite Slack channel has to be our #pop-a-squat channel, where we just kiki on all things popular culture. Sometimes in between meetings, you just have to decompress with a little Love Island banter and share your top music tracks of the week.
What Movers+Shakers value do you embody the most?
Responsibility! M+S has definitely given me the tools to responsibly help manage a handful of accounts at once and be a self-starting, ambitious team player.
What TikTok dance move or song captures how you felt when you got promoted?
I would be lying to myself if I didn’t feel like I had a BBL for a hot second.

You've been here about a year now, do you consider yourself a mover or a shaker?
I consider myself a mover.
What's your favorite memory, slack channel, or meeting you've had while at M+S?
My favorite memory was the first time meeting my team IRL - we had a backyard picnic at Evan and Geoffrey's home in Santa Monica!
What Movers+Shakers value do you embody the most?
Caring Collaboration. It's important for our team to have unity - we produce our best work when we collaborate & when everyone feels valued!
What TikTok dance move or song captures how you felt when you got promoted?

Evan Kaufman, from Senior Creative to Associate Creative Director.
You've been here 6 months now, do you consider yourself a mover or a shaker?
I do consider myself a mover AND a shaker.
What's your favorite memory, slack channel, or meeting you've had while at M+S?
My first pitch meeting with Warner Bros watching Geoffrey pitch Godzilla vs Kong and realizing how much fun the job was going to be.
What Movers+Shakers value do you embody the most?
Probably JOY. Creating fun and funny things and making people happy is the best!
What TikTok dance move or song captures how you felt when you got promoted?
The buffering trend, which is how I reacted when I heard the news. Just a blank smile, my head spinning.
Meagan Funt, from Account Coordinator to Account Manager.
You've been here 8 months now, do you consider yourself a mover or a shaker?
I’d say I am a hybrid - 50% mover & 50% shaker
What's your favorite memory, slack channel, or meeting you've had while at M+S?
I have so many! I can’t possibly select just one! I would have to say that launching e.l.f.’s NFTs and watching them sell out in 9 minutes was pretty epic. A reminder that you can learn, adapt and accomplish anything you put your mind to!
What Movers+Shakers value do you embody the most?
All of them! One of the many reasons I love this company so much is because of how much my personal morals and values align with the company’s. If I had to select one, I would choose “Courage + Tenacity.” I always say, anything is possible.
What TikTok dance move or song captures how you felt when you got promoted?
A mix of “Get the Party Started” by Pink and “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey

You've been here 9 months now, do you consider yourself a mover or a shaker?
I’d consider myself mover-dominant, I like to take initiative and keep things rolling!
What's your favorite memory, slack channel, or meeting you've had while at M+S?
My favorite slack channel is definitely the Real Housewives of Movers+Shakers. No shortage of Bravo aficionados here.
What Movers+Shakers value do you embody the most?
Caring Collaboration. I strive to ensure our project teams work together in the most joyful and effective way possible and that we’re being the best possible partners to our clients.
